| It occurred to me only yesterday that our tangeable little lives, bound by ponderous laws of physics as they are, are actually quite remarkable in terms of their rippling effect on this transcendental world. Our ability to choose, for example, makes for intriguing capacity to warp the very fabric of space-time flow as we conceive of it, effectively shattering continuous consequences into smaller and smaller sections, until, at last, an infinite array is resolved. It is said that a paradox exists in the nature of our linear motion alone: certainly, walking directionally is an example of a vector, but what should happen to that vector if it were cut to continuous pieces, smaller and smaller each time, until an infinite number of pieces remained? Well then, certainly, we should not be able to walk at all, given that we would have to cover an infinite distance to do so! The name of this paradox escapes me, but I find myself astounded by its rationality nonetheless. Truly, our lives are fragile and elegant little systems. | | |

| "Terror is the only thing that comes close to how I feel when I think of moths. Their willowy, see-through wings always seem filthy. I remember being stuck in a car with a huge moth and my date, not knowing how terrified I was of moths, thought I was kidding when I told him I was afraid. It was terrible! I can feel it right now... feeling trapped and the moth with its ugle body flitting around so quickly, I couldn't anticipate where it would go next. Finally that creature hit me in the arm and I screamed - it felt dirty and sleazy and then it hit me in the face and I began to scream uncontrollably. I had the terrible feeling it was going to fly into my mouth while I was screaming, but I couldn't stop."
